Personally, I think the Shrouded Armor in Oblivion was cooler than the Skyrim armor set (the robes are all right, though).
I love the Skyrim's DB robes, they are the only clothes that look good on my skinny elf.
When I first stepped into the Sanctuary and learned that they had abandoned the 5 tenets I was outraged! How could they!? What about the Wrath of Sithis? Does it still appear?
Then I got Lucien, whom I couldn't save from being unjustly killed by the other Black Hand members, as a ghost follower! I was really happy, even though I used to hate this man for making me kill all my beloved dark brothers and sisters.
And when I read Cicero's journal, about the Sanctuary in Cheydinhal and the "ghosts of purification" it send shivers down my spine because this very Sanctuary used to be my home! I was the one who carried out the Purification! I once called those ghosts my family! And now Cicero's journal told me the whole place is gone!? Damn, I almost cried.
Back to the armor: by looks, I prefer wearing the guild master armor of the Thieves Guild. It makes me feel like myself for some reason... But most of the time I wear the Ancient Shrouded Armor simply because it was such a hassle to get it. ...Even though Cicero did most of the work... *cough*
Oh, Sithis, I'm rambling! Sorry.
And it's totally okay to ramble, I also tend to do that.
